how cute!

They're beautiful creatures, but up close handling them, the teeth and tails just make me a bit creeped!

I know they're meant to be exceptionally clean and intelligent; they're not evil sewer-dwelling cretins!

can't see the pic but i've kept rats too

lily and cara my 1st pair while im was at uni were really tame and so lvable. would sit on my shoulder and were safe to be free running etc

then i got 2 rescues called ginger and amber who were already quite old when i got them. then i got 2 dumbo males called henry and figo. all lovely but none comapred to my 1st two. i prob won't get any more cos now i have the dogs and don't live at home as i think the more time you can spend with them the more you enjoy them and get out of them

the red eyed rats can't see as well so they are normally quite good for pets, but remember they also don't like bright lights as they are bad for their eyes! I've worked with a lot of rats over the years, baby ones are the best!!!

I had my last 2 put down last xmas and doubt I'll go there again, they ate up nearly 15years of my life and too many tears were shed!

We used to have rats at school and I helped look after them until they died of old age. Its the giant stick insects that scare me
